Jothir Ganesan is a Software Development Manager for the Site Reliability Engineering team in Oracle’s MySQL Database Service offering. She has 15+ years of experience with a wide knowledge of technologies for driving the product through the entire software lifecycle ensuring better quality and customer support. She has worked on different products like Application Servers, Web Servers, Message Queues, MySQL Enterprise Backup and MySQL Database Service.

MySQL Database Service (MDS) is a fully-managed PaaS that enables organizations to deploy cloud-native applications using the world’s most popular open source database. She is currently responsible for the Site Reliability Engineering team of MDS that plays a central role in staffing 24×7 worldwide operations and in maintaining operational tooling, infrastructure, and processes to help our extended team meet Service Level Agreements. The team aims to provide operational support and tooling through deployment, monitoring, change management, problem analysis, capacity management, and mitigation/remediation of issues across all deployed components of MDS.
