Ishara is the Head of Engineering in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) business unit at WSO2, a leading open-source technology provider. With over 12 years of experience at WSO2, Ishara specializes in IAM, Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), and API Security domains. In his role, Ishara provides engineering leadership to the WSO2 IAM business unit and serves as an IAM advocate for WSO2 customers and the global open-source community. He has spoken at numerous conferences and workshops worldwide, including WSO2Con in the USA and Asia, CIW Amsterdam 2018, TIIME Workshops, and Unconference 2019, covering topics such as IAM, Open Source IAM, strong authentication, and privacy. Ishara has also authored numerous articles and technical papers in these domains, contributing significantly to the field of identity and access management.
